My name is Stephen. I am a visual artist based in Australia; specializing in coloured pencils and digital media.
I have had an interest in arts since a very young age. I first seriously began designing artworks in late 2005. This was by the process of photo-manipulation using Adobe Photoshop.
After 2007, my artwork took a new turn when I stopped graphic design and took up drawing. I did many little sketches and taught myself how to draw with graphite, coloured pencils and acrylic paint. I took on many art commissions, exhibited artworks and even produced a public mural for the council.
In 2010, I had my first art lesson. I was taking part in a course for Certificate IV in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft. I successfully completed this course on November of that year. Along the way, I exhibited artworks four times, took on the role as an arts tutor and sold multiple artworks.
In 2011, I began my Diploma in Visual Arts. Along the year, larger commissions began to arise. These include a production line of kiteboard designs, sign writing, logo designs and paintings. More students came for tutoring. I featured in another three exhibitions, including being a finalist for the Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award.
